Certainly! This year, candidates preparing for JEE Main 2023 have some flexibility. They can opt to appear in either session 1,and session 2, or both. Here’s the catch: if a candidate chooses to participate in both sessions, only their best score will be taken into account when calculating the final result.
An advantage here is that candidates who opt for both sessions do not need to reapply during the session 2 period. Instead, they can directly log in during the session 2 window, make any necessary payments, and even change their exam center if needed.
Important news for JEE Main 2024 aspirants is that the syllabus has undergone a reduction, which means some chapters have been excluded. The reason behind this change is to bring the syllabus in line with the NCERT curriculum followed by students in classes 11 and 12.
Interestingly, most of the exclusions have been made in the Chemistry section. This adjustment is designed to ensure that the topics covered in the JEE Main exam resonate with what students have learned in their standard curriculum, making the preparation process more focused and aligned with their classroom studies. So, it’s a shift that aims to streamline the studying experience for aspiring candidates.
